I am really nobody, just an old lady who saw over 50 years ago that the constitution needed to be amended to include all Americans. I dug in to find who began this mission. It was 21 year old Alice Paul while working in an immigrant settlement house. She worked on the ratification of the ERA to her dying day, at age 92.
In 1982 I offered my life for the ERA passage by publicly fasting with 6 other women. We lived on water only for 37 days, ending the fast as the voting ended the campaign. I won't ever stop holding the ERA high, as the only way to bring justice, balance and equality to America. Anything less will be inadequate and fly on the whims of the patriarchy.
Watching so many players, so many, in all these years, they have no idea what is on the other side of this gross bloody caste system we have and the differential is going to advance Jan 20, 2025.
There is only one reason to stand in the way of this amendment, WOMEN ARE THE CHEAPEST LABOR FORCE ON EARTH. We are either dependent on the patriarchy or poor or very rare.
Reading that the Archivist took an unlawful stand, watching potus pretend he has no responsibility here, hearing NOTHING from all of the women reporters, and KNOWING what this amendment could do for all Americans, it actually painful. I am proud that I can feel such pain and am repulsed by those who take no responsibility.
LET me be clear, 46 senators, 124 congressmembers, 146 national organizations, the American Bar Association agree and a majority of Americans agree, it is time to publish the final 38th state, Virginia. The Equal Rights Amendment is the law and all who are not upholding it, are criminals.
